Wall Connections Using Wall Node

Experiencing with the use of Wall nodes with a list of 2D points i end up by getting separated walls... 

Am i missing (probably...) something in the network of nodes i'm using (see attach) ?

How to get the walls connected with each other ?

@David - CADTECHi, Have a look at this file, Its VW 2016. 

Check the Wall node in this file, I think its different from the one you are using and it joins the wall.

Yes, this new Py Script corrects the problem ( i think this is the corrected version  from Marissa right) ?

I think this revised script is still missing the joining of first and last wall right ? Do you happen to know if this was addressed in SP3 of 2017 ? 

btw: This wall creation implementation you created is awesome ! Many congrats !!

@MarissaF @sbarrett I can only imagine how busy you guys are but one little node seems to have slipped by the latest update. The wall node in 2017 does not join each section of the walls. The node provided by Marissa back on Dec 2, 2015 works ok, so possible this one can get into the next revision. Thanks.

That node hasn't made it in (yet).

We have a process that everything has to go through before it can get checked into the software. I'm not sure how quickly I can get it in, maybe the next version if I'm lucky.

I'll try to further modify this node to get those last pesky walls to join today. As long as all goes well, I should have it done in a couple of hours (providing something more pressing doesn't come up first  )

I've added a checkbox to the OIP to let the user decide whether or not they would like to join the walls.

In the image below, replace the highlighted line with "range(len(start)-1)"

@MarissaFYes that did the trick. Wall closes and no error message.

Also will the other join option  be handled by other nodes or incorporated as an option in this one??

Hi, Now I can here you from here say not you again All works well for a closed loop. Break the loop and the walls close across the gap.

Marissa... that worked perfectly ! And this option of Join Walls in the node is just perfect !

As far as i understand, once the internal script of those nodes are adjusted... we need to forward it to the customer  to adjust it inside his Wall Node (pasting the script...)  ?  Or can we pass along the whole node ?

You can send them the node the script will travel with it. The only time this would be different is if you are using a referenced script, which I did not include in this node.

Hi Marissa...

Making some experiences with walls in Marionette in 2018 i just noticed that the wall node was not adjusted with this new Py script  you made here ... it's still leaving the walls unconnected  when used... should we keep sending this modified script here to the customers ?

@David - CADTECSorry David i uploaded the wrong file, see attached. it appears the 2018 shipped node does not not close any walls but the previous one Marissa gave me closes all walls and the end.
