Custom Line type with Sketch Style not working

In VW 2016 you could create a custom line type using a small rectangle and assign it a sketch style which would display in a viewport with the sketch style.

This no longer seems to work in VW 2017 unless I am missing something. Could this be a bug?

If anyone has any ideas on this I would be interested.
