joey altalef
Is there a way to make a viewport of a "clip cubed" view of an object? The only option I find is to make a section viewport. I would like to create an isometric viewport of a clip cubed object in varios planes. 4 Quote Link to comment
Matt Overton
Went to an interesting talk the other day on building defects and leaks. The suggestion was all architects should draw isometric sketch details instead of section details as the top 3 things that can be down to stop problems happening. So so I can see the value in this. 3 Quote Link to comment

Diamond
Heya. A number of people from my studio have requested this. So +1 from me. Cheers. Quote Link to comment
zeno
Absolutely we need it. The viewport should be rendered with every render-style mode. It is an effective tool for project representation. Quote Link to comment
zoomer
Funny, in Modo I have a Render Boolean, not available for modeling, in VW I have a Clip Cube for modeling but not RW rendering 😀 Quote Link to comment
Diamond
Yes, to get around this we will take a screen shots (and sometimes use saved views – which can save clip cube settings), but that doesn't get around the availability of other render styles (or at least I don't think so because I haven't tested anything other than OpenGL with Clip Cube).
