Create Saved view from viewport

markdd

Question

I would like to request a "create saved view from viewport visibility settings" command.

I frequently use viewport layer and class visibilities to create saved views. Double click on the viewport and navigate to the design layer using the "display with viewport attributes" from the viewport. Then save the view from there. It would be good to have a macro that would bypass the navigate from viewport stage. A further enhancement could be the ability to have a check box allow updates of the saved view if the layer/class visibilities change in the viewport the saved view has originated from.

Here's hoping!

Yes this would be quite useful, as I often need to turn layers and classed on and off in viewports (e.g. after duplication for a different kind of view or to accommodate for presentation changes) and it would be nice if such a viewport setting could be saved as a saved view for working on design layers.
