barkest
Hi the attached image shows some cloth that I placed over the back of a Sub-D object. The cloth object is an .OBJ I created in another app. The render has curved geometry and anti aliasing set to very high and I have changed the crease angle as well (to a crazy 179) Is there anything else I can do to improve the smoothness of this cloth object? thank you Quote Link to comment

Rummelplatz
If you want to make it completely in vectorworks, just use subdivision modelling. I've done some towels with it and the effect is awesome...no import needed. You can use a flat plane..form it like u want it. SO you should give this a try! all the best ;-) Quote Link to comment
barkest
Hi Rum I am avoiding making in VW as it takes far too long to create and I do can it much quicker elsewhere. So if I want a throw on the back of the chair it takes less than a minute. Also I can texture externally which, unfortunately, VW is extremely poor at. thanks for the input though Edited March 10, 2017 by barkest Quote Link to comment
