VW2017 Bi-fold / sliding/ folding doors

Hi,

I've been trying to create generic bi-fold/ sliding/ folding doors using the door without success, although you can get fairly close (but only a maximum of 4 panels)

Any hints/ tips on how to create these?

 

These are very popular in the UK, maybe not so much in the US and other regions....?

No - they are popular here in the U.S. as well, you still have to create your own symbol (unless you happen to live in AUS/NZ where you can use the WinDoor plugin  ).

 

Here is another related thread on this topic. If you happen to have SketchUp, you can use the NanaWall plugin (mentioned in that other thread) to create your multi-panel folding / sliding door, and then import that into Vw.

 

NanaWall also has some Vectorworks format models of their door assemblies.
