RGyori
Is it just me or is VW Help running extremely slow if at all? Noticed earlier today. Quote Link to comment
0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted February 28, 2017 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 28, 2017 Amazon Web Services are experiencing some significant problems today. We host many pages on AWS so our sites will be affected as well. this includes the online Help as well as a lot of the Service Select content. Quote Link to comment

0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted February 28, 2017 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 28, 2017 Yes it could. It looks like nearly all public facing systems could be affected. Message from Amazon regarding it:"Increased Error Rates We're continuing to work to remediate the availability issues for Amazon S3 in US-EAST-1. AWS services and customer applications depending on S3 will continue to experience high error rates as we are actively working to remediate the errors in Amazon S3." https://status.aws.amazon.com/ Quote Link to comment

0 Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted March 1, 2017 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 1, 2017 Amazon has stated these issues should now be resolved. If anyone is still experiencing problems, please let me know. Quote Link to comment

0 zoomer
Nearly everyone is using Amazon Web Services. They have to dimension their servers for their peaks so they have a lot of spare computing power under normal load. Which you can rent. To provide your users with software release updates or other data at high bandwith. Which you normally couldn't afford. Edited March 1, 2017 by zoomer Quote Link to comment
