Benson Shaw
Is there a vwx process for displaying several layers in separate render states? Either a design layer view with several other layers visible, or, a Sheet Layer View Port. Example: deemphasized layers, such as site context, rendered in RW Style Realistic Colors White, while objects on emphasis layer(s) render in full color OGL or FQRW, say a building or a bridge, or only the trees. For a work around, Design Layers or SLVP layer overrides can be assigned to gray, or class SLVP overrides can make certain objects white (but if there are lots of classes . . .). But gray layers lack robust control of color, transparency, edges, and other render effects. Stacked SLVPs have occlusion problems. Disabling the SLVP>Advanced Settings>Render Gray Layers Transparent makes no difference. The gray layers retain same transparency. I see the Export PDF pref for setting opacity of gray layers, but I can’t find a display pref. Is there such? Any pointers appreciated. Or is this wish list material? -B Edited February 21, 2017 by Benson Shaw found the export pref for gray layers Quote Link to comment
bcd
No, but stacking SLVPs with different layer visibilities and various Render Styles can get you close. You can also interleave a semi-transparent mask between the stack to de-emphasize the geometry behind. Quote Link to comment
