Tylerp
We recently upgraded to 10.5 and the preferences keep defaulting to the original settings - sound, conversion resolutions, etc. Any suggestions? It seems to happen randomly. Thanks. Quote Link to comment

Tylerp
OS 9.2 - we haven't had the time to upgrade to 10 yet - would that fix the problem or is there something we can do in the meantime? Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
I'm not sure, but I had a similar thing happen in OS 10.2.8(G5) where the program would quit unexpectedley (no duh!) and when I re-opened all my preferences would be reset to factory defaults (very irritating!). Fortunately since I upgraded to my new machine this has not happened. I would suggest calling tech support. At least they can put it on the bug list...PS: don't forget to backup all your work. Last year I re-learned that lesson the hard way! Best Regards, Peter Cipes Quote Link to comment
Guest
Tylerp - Delete the VW preferences file in the system>preferences folder. Empty the trash can. (Make sure VW is closed durring this process). Launch VW. You'll be prompted to enter you name, company name, and serial number. Once you do all that, you should be all set. Quote Link to comment
