Exporting non standard sized drawings to PDF

I want to export drawings to Pdf so that they can be printed on a large format printer. The drawings are custom sized e.g. 5190mm x 2820mm. When I open the exported document using PDF reader. The files are blank. When opened using preview (on a Mac) the file displays correctly. My printers can use the file but myclients can't see anything. Is there a way to fix this?

Is your client using the official Acrobat Reader application? This is pretty much the gold standard. And it is free to download and use. Have them (or you download and try) it and see if that works.  

 

VW uses some pretty advanced features of the PDF document format to generate the drawings. Sometimes third party viewers don't support the complete PDF standard.
