Is this wall style possible

Hi @CTross,

No for the short answer.  You can cheat.  As you can see even in your detail you've got an air space.  That air space in simplicity is occupying the same space as the siding above.  Walls are built from components.

3.5" Brick, 1" air space, air barrier, 7/16" OSB, 2x6 insulated framing, vapour barrier and drywall to finish.  Sizes and spacing may vary.  So when you build your wall replace the air cavity with siding and even set the bottom of the siding up lets say 36" from the bottom of the wall.  You essentially now have a wall with a brick bottom and sided top.

What many in the forum are hoping for and has been wished for is what we call stackable walls meaning we can build this same wall above with an air cavity and siding above that essentially have the same horizontal position but with different vertical positions.  Have a look at the home page for "Architecture" here in the forum and you will see a whole discussion on this topic.
