bhgiblin Posted December 28, 2016 Share Posted December 28, 2016 Hello, I am new to vector works and working on framing documents for a 3 story house. Despite setting my stories at the appropriate height, I cannot get my roof to connect to the walls at the height specified by the story without the rafters intersecting the wall and thus making my wall framing overly complicated and incorrect. Again, because I am new, I might just be missing a setting / parameter? Thanks, B Quote Link to comment
Guest Wes Gardner Posted January 2, 2017 Share Posted January 2, 2017 (edited) A couple of things - The roof should be on its own LAYER - generally I set that elevation at what will be the height of the top plate of the upper floor.
