Texture beds in the Hardscape tool

It seems that texture beds in the Hardscape tool will only render on the site model if the model is set to display Proposed 3D model only. I would like to use the HS tool to create existing objects and render them in the model. How about adding the option for Existing/Proposed just like an ordinary Texture Bed?

I agree with you @Danilothe hardscape tool and its ability to apply texture could use some help, I hadn't realized that it would not apply in the existing DTM setting.
It's often a tricky process to get this to work, I've found it requires a pretty rigid approach, this is what I do

It would be kind of nice if you could apply multiple slopes like a pad as well.
