zoomer
I think every PIO'S Setup Dialog needs checkboxes for which entry will appear in OIP, or not. Also I think OIP entries should have an option to collapse groups of entries and a better visual separation. 1 Quote Link to comment

I could see this being confusing where you're left wondering what happened to some OIP options, forgetting that you turned them off several months ago. Or someone else working in the file turned them off, but you want them on. But I do think the ability to collapse sections of the OIP is a good idea. 0 zoomer
Well, currently I also often wonder why the settings I would like to see are not included in OIP (like Classes) and why I have to scroll over so many unnecessary settings instead. But have no control at all. So if not needed just not touch such Option ? And to avoid someone else touching your Settings, store them in Workspace Settings ? BTW, and store Workspace Settings on a per User base stored in Workgroup Folder that they can be accessed from any machine in the office ? Quote Link to comment
0 rDesign
In addition to collapsing OIP sections, the ability to drag and reorder OIP sections would be a welcome improvement. But in my opinion, having those two options (collapse and drag-and-reorder) would effectively address your other wish to be able to remove specific OIP controls. Quote Link to comment
0 zoomer
Yes even reordering could do the trick mostly. Also collapsing at a certain part. Quote Link to comment
0 bcd
Spotlight has this for Lighting Instruments - there are just short of 2^10 parameters controlling the Lighting Instrument and you can make some of these available/unavailable in the OIP via File>Document Settings>Spotlight Preferences>Lighting Device Parameters Edited December 19, 2016 by bcd Quote Link to comment
