Question

Hi,

I'm creating a staircase with the Stair Tool but I'm encountering problems with the second stage of treads. From TOP/PLAN the staircase appears all straight and lined up. But when seen from TOP the second stage of treads appears slightly crooked. It's a tiny bit but the treads are not truly at 90 degrees. Maybe there is something wrong with my settings... but I don't think so. Also I get a weird set of circular lines... (this is not as bad of a problem as the treads are)

I think the problem occurs when I set the STAIR LANDING CORNERS radius.

I leave a set of screenshots that explain the problem.

Ok, I see it too.

Increasing Offset 1+2 does not help.

But setting the landing rounding just a bit smaller as the max. possible number (like 0,148 instead of 0,15)

makes the upper treads orthogonal again.

I would say this is a bug.

Don't know why the Meshing is so bad and if there could be any improvements.

It did it initially in Top but now seems to be straight in both. If I reload the file I see the crooked line but then upon any draw or object regen it corrects itself. However it isn't file specific, if I create a Stair with similar settings I can recreate the crookedness intermittently, I'll pass this along to see if someone can nail it down.
