0 Andy Broomell Posted December 9, 2016 Share Posted December 9, 2016 As Mark suggests, I believe the only way to accomplish this is by giving your Dimension a white fill in the Attributes Palette (or whatever color your Dimension is in front of). This will make it "appear" as though the dimension line breaks; there's no real way to make the dimension line stop and start on either side of the text. If you REALLY needed to have it break for some reason, select the Dimension and Ungroup it. This will leave you with editable geometry, although it will no longer be a Dimension object.
