dashed polyline?

Hi guys,

 

I'm trying to make a polyline a dashed line, but it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas why this is (not) happening?

As far  as I know, polylines cannot take linetype info. Really wish they could though!

I can make polylines dashed....just apply a linetype to the class or to the line itself.  Your line scale (or layer scale) might be keeping you from being able to see it.

Thanks for your comments. The layer scale in my file is 1:100, dashed linetype is applied to the class, and straight lines do appear as dashed. However the polyline still doesn't come out as dashed. Maybe it's a bug in the software version, I'm using vwx 2014.

Ah! I found it, it's the type of dash I had selected from the linotype menu. I must have used a rogue dash type...

@AnnelieWhat operating system are you currently using? Which service pack for Vectorworks 2014?
