Guest Posted September 23, 2003 Share Posted September 23, 2003 The updates/fixes in 10.2.8 include the following: Delivers enhanced functionality and improved reliability for the following applications, services and technologies: Audio, Bluetooth, Classic compatibility, Finder, Graphics, LDAP, Power Management, Safari, and FireWire and USB device compatibility. The update also provides updated security services and includes the latest Security Updates. The only VW related issue here would be Finder interaction, Power Management (laptop users) and USB device compatibility if you have a USB dongle or USB printer. It does have security fixes, which is always a good idea to get with the internet being so insecure as it is. Quote Link to comment
matto Posted September 24, 2003 Share Posted September 24, 2003 the news from www.slashdot.org is that apple have withdrawn the update for 10.2.8 due to a problem with iMac' and eMac' networking so maybe hold off a couple of days at least Quote Link to comment
