The current support list for browsers vs hardware:https://webvr.rocks/ The Vive is only supported on a few browsers, and even then they're mostly in an experimental phase. The official release build of Firefox doesn't have it in yet. I can understand a desire to push tech forward faster, but the stance of "It's already there you just haven't turned it on yet." is both untrue and not helpful to development. Please make sure to make specific wishes for functionality along with what software you want to use with what hardware, since there is no global unified implementation currently for this platform. Well Jim, WebVR is out on Firefox since a few days...http://www.zdnet.com/article/firefox-55-is-out-windows-users-get-webvr-plus-more-speed-faster-launches/ And it works like a charm. You should have a look and try it. The fact that the VW webviewer works on a smartphone browser in stereo, implicates that it will work on a normal pc browser. It was only programmed not to work on the pc, because there is no use for a eye split stereo... If you analyze the code, you see stereo all over the place. And with a bit of willpower, it can be working quicky. We're not talking about an Indy developer... But maybe that's the problem... Michel 1 Quote Link to comment

barkest
Currently only Revit and Archicad but it looks pretty decent with .OBJ Quote Link to comment

It works really well. IT handles OBJs out of VW like a champ. Archicad Already had a direct sync link - Can VW?? Make sure to put it in as a wish! It would be separate from this thread's wish. Yes, a number of days, certainly not something that would require a company to realize what year it was. 2 hours ago, Michel Buchner said: The fact that the VW webviewer works on a smartphone browser in stereo, implicates that it will work on a normal pc browser. You might think so, but unfortunately after discussing it with engineering, these claims are untrue. 2 hours ago, Michel Buchner said: And with a bit of willpower, it can be working quicky Which is why this would make a good wishlist item, with enough votes it can be decided on as a feature to be implemented. I am amazed how good it looks out of the box. Once you delve in - the editing gets a little messy. I really like the possibilities though. Quote Link to comment
