rcarch
we have run into a thing where the object info palette is stretched beyond the lower boundary of the screen, so we can not access the tabs at the bottom. to get to them, we need to change from one workspace to another. any suggestions on how to fix this? we have already tried dumping the plist file, but that did not work. macosX, vw 10.5 [ 09-16-2003, 03:44 PM: Message edited by: rcarch ] Quote Link to comment
Guest -dom-
hi rich have you already tried to change the screen resolution? Maybe this could help you. If nothing else helps, reinstall a propper workspace. Quote Link to comment
Carl Burns
For the next time: NNA tech suppport suggested keeping an exact copy of the workspace, as this is where palette location/size info is stored. When you lose a palette, use the copy of the workspace and toss the old one/make a new copy. I once had luck with changing monitor resolution. Carl Quote Link to comment
rcarch
thanks for the responses - i have not had any luck w/ the change of resolution (like i used to) i have a 20" cinema display and it keeps everything where it is, unfortunately. i am going to create a custom workspace and see if that cures what ails me. Henry Finch
I again have the overly long info palette problem. The bottom tabs are below the viewable screen and cannot be moved back. All previously custom made workspaces now also have this problem. I've changed monitor resolution with no luck. Making an all new workspace is a pain. Is this a bug? Any other solutions?
