Straight Truss problem

Hi everyone.

 

I'm having an issue with the 2d (top/plan) view of straight trusses.

When you draw a truss and set the profile to flat all is lovely. skip from top 3d, to top 2d and it's all nice.

put a 90deg hanging angle on it, and all is still good.

now take the hanging angle off, and put a 90deg rotation angle in... oh dear... now the 3d view displays correctly, but the 2d plan, shows it flat again, and not rotated.

 

any way I can fix this?

Please see the screen shots attached, which illustrate this breathtakingly irritating problem. Between this issue and the Content Manager not working properly, I have given up on 2017 and, tail betrween my legs have retreated to 2016. These two issues alone have cost me hours of lost productivity this week.
