Custom dimension standard from default standard

Recommended Posts

Go to Document Preferences, Dimensions tab.  Select the dimension style you want to use as the base. Click the Custom button. Click the New Button, Give it a Name and hit OK twice. You should now have your new dimension standard in the list of standards.

Hit the Custom button again. Select your new standard and click the Edit button. From the Edit dialog box you should be able to change your text style and most other aspects of the dimension.

You probably don't need to do the save first and could immediately edit the new style, but I didn't test that.

Aw, thank you!! Didn't realize that that I would carry the last selected values into the new custom standard.

One more quick question, I am using dual dimensions and have to add "mm" as Trailer to each dimension. Is there a way to safe this in the standard?
