Nicolas
Hello, I'm a beginner in Marionette. I succeeded in creating an hybrid object to parameter different sizes and aesthetic of a sliding closet door. However i have a problem if i want to convert the marionette in a result object i can edit as i want. All my geometry is designed based on a bottom left point, with copy and move of rectangles. But when I use the command "create a result object" it appears that all the copies don't move anymore. I joined a picture to show. In a second time i would like to use this object as a symbol to insert it in walls. Manually it works, but i would like that the result object can automatically be inserted. Is it possible ? Thanks for your help to improve this object, Nicolas Quote Link to comment
Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted September 30, 2016 Marionette Maven Share Posted September 30, 2016 @Nicolas, Would it be possible for you to attach the file with the door in question? Or if you'd rather not share it publicly, could you email it to me at --- so that I can take a closer look? I'd like to help you out with this! Thank you, Marissa Quote Link to comment
AlanW
@NicolasHi, Here is a sliding door network that may assist. Set opening width by percentages. When you first put it in a wall you see it bet it disappears as you zoom on my screen anyways. Just a quick one to show how it works, would need refining but shows the intent. Nicolas
Sorry for the late reply, i don't work a lot on it. Thank you for the both answers ! Here is the file (copyleft). It seems that the problem comes from the origin of the rectangle node (which has a value in Alan marionette) but i didn't manage to solve it for now.
