I have no idea how this would work - but it would be great if there was some automated way to create exploded axons that did not require actually exploring the geometry. I know you can fake it by having a series of viewports - that you spread apart, but auto-exploded axons would be amazing! I am just thinking that as we move more to 3D - classic 2D representations are not necessarily the best way to explain our design. We get very caught up in the 3D model producing the 2D drawings we are used to - but we should also be thinking about expanding our communication vocabulary. Some sort of automated exploded view - could replace several elevations in 1 drawing.
