barkest
You can become AutoCad, Revit, 3DS Max etc. certified. You can even become certified in specific areas such as plumbing, electrics.... Are there any moves to create a VW certification? I think I asked this question a couple of years ago. Thanks Edited September 13, 2016 by barkest change 1 Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted September 13, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted September 13, 2016 We want to. The idea being that we could create curricula for topics like that, and upon completion of a set of test questions you'd be certified either to operate or teach that set of workflows and tools. I wanted to not just have this for the Trainers but also available to give to schools as source material. The plan got delayed when I took over the training video content production managers job but we hope to get projects like that back on track soon. 2 Quote Link to comment

Mark Thomason
Is there any movement on this? Would love to have some standards I could be teaching to my students... Quote Link to comment

Arielus
If certification exists, for example I am certified by Vectorworks Quote Link to comment
HEengineering
I would think this idea would be relatively popular? I always found it odd that there wasnt a counterpart certification similar to ACAD. Quote Link to comment
SeanOSkea
Been a couple years since the last post here. In '16 Jim sounded like there might be some things in the works. I've got a sabbatical coming up and would love to get some formal certification. Quote Link to comment
