Wishlist as normal forum?

I am not sure that the question format is the best for wishlist.  It just doesn't seem that there will be a Best Answer to a wishlist submittal. At very least the nomenclature should change from "Submit Questions" to "Submit Idea."

Well the main idea behind this was so that my "Request Submitted" became the best answer, but I haven't really completely liked this idea because of the name. I'm still wondering if a tag/prefix that shows it's been submitted would make more sense. Thoughts on how this could flow are welcome.

I see.  Let your Request Submitted be the best answer - and then all the riffing happen below.  The tag could work too.  It would be less intrusive.  You then could search for all submitted requests.

I wondered about the question approach. Some of the old wish threads are very convoluted with multiple wishes buried within them. The advantage to the question approach is the buried wishes can be brought forward. I suppose new threads won't end up with a series of plus ones unless someone wants to add suggestions as well.

Its sort of like Jeopardy, make sure to submit your wish in the form of a question

Yes, convoluted is good description. Many wishes in the old forum accumulated add ons, or were even hijacked to entirely new topic.  That was a bad habit.  I'm trying to retrain myself to just start a new wish if the discussion or add on is not directly relevant to the OP and add tags.

Looking over at the Known Issues list - I think that way with the tags works well.  You should do that.
