Andrew Mac
Is it possible to take say 2 walls that are running parallel to one another to show them as one wall from a 2 d visual purpose only- I would be where i was furing out a wall and I wanted to show it all in gray without a line separating the 2 walls? zoomer
I think that will work only if you choose the simplified black and white option in your viewports or assign a stroke color similar to the fill color in you Class or Object settings. BTW, there shouldn't happen any touching parallel Walls in general. That should be an complex multi component wall style at best, to be able to insert (only one) Window or Door to cut all "components". I know it is invitingly to workaround problems, but if there is ever any other solution with one single Wall only, I prefer that Edited September 7, 2016 by zoomer Quote Link to comment
Tom Klaber
You *might* be able to build a wall style where one side does not have a stroke. There is a setting for the wall attributes to use the component settings - then make a component that only has a stroke on one side. It might be worth a try. I have had many instances where we want to indicate furring on top of existing conditions so we end up with the situation you are encountering but decided to keep the resulting line as an indication of a build out. Tom Klaber
I confirmed you can do this as long as Show Components is on. Edited September 7, 2016 by Tom Klaber Added Image Quote Link to comment
