Cloud Hidden
I draw a curved wall and add windows. Client wants the wall longer on each side. If I change the start degrees, then all my windows move because they are relative to the start. If I just add a separate wall segment for the new space, then I cannot add any symbols that bridge the two wall segments. It's a nuisance to have to more all windows one by one just because the wall is being lengthened a foot or three. Is there a way to get around this? Quote Link to comment
Cloud Hidden
Never mind. The wall join tool works for this. Though it seemed logical that there should be a way to do it with the OIP. Quote Link to comment
Cloud Hidden
Well, it doesn't always work, even when the endpoints are identical. Sometimes I get a msg that walls cannot be joined. Quote Link to comment

I reshaped a round wall in top/plan view, and the symbols didn't move when I extended either end. Does this work for what you want to do? Quote Link to comment
Cloud Hidden
I just created a new doc and drew a round wall 17'R. Start 135 degrees and end 45. Popped a door right in the middle. From the OIP, changed start to 180. Door stayed where it belonged. Changed end to 22, and the door location moved. That doesn't seem logical to me. Do you get the same results? Quote Link to comment
