Alignment issues with Dimensions having Leader and Note text

Question

Dimension object with Leader and Note text (which goes below the text line). Problem is that the Note text doesn't stay below the line, it'll go the opposite direction of wherever you drag the dimension text.

The Dimension Note text should always stay below the line of Dimension text.

Ha... I had no idea you could do a leader line for a dimension. Now that's something I could use....

The behaviour when you add a note and a leader is wacky (actually the behaviour of the note generally when you move the dimension text is wacky).

I would have expected the note to remain under the dimension with the leader like this image.

That's exactly right Kevin. That's where one would expect the Dimension Note text to go: Always under the Dimension text.

I filed a Bug Submit report for this.

LOL and if you grab the note and move up and around they go opposite to each other like a mirror opposite.

Leader lines are inconsistent for other objects, too. Radial dimensions take some experience - I often end up moving the dimension object by mistake rather than adjusting the position of the leader. Welding symbols - where to grab is not clear, or is not consistent with other objects that have blue handle markers.
