1 Kevin McAllister
Bump - It was listed in the VW Task list JimW posted.... but it doesn't seem to have made it into the release.... MacOS X Palette Docking 2.0 - his task will add improvements to MacOS X Palette Docking that will permit multiple document windows to be selectively fixed to a single application window, while also permitting additional document windows to remain in separate windows. When multiple documents are fixed to the application window, a set of labeled UI elements ("tabs") will be used to activate a document as well as indicate the presence of the document. Additionally, the ability to fix palettes with respect to the application window will be implemented. These modifications will supplant the functionality provided by the current Single Window Mode implementation. Finally, docking of tear-off palettes and script palettes will be permissible.
