Control geometry

Recommended Posts

Have a look at this video I use control geometry to define the path of an object.

Basically you create a network with the control geometry node at the front and this will tell the script to use the piece of geometry you associate with it.

With named objects the network is always looking for the object name, if you change it or forget to name it you get an error.

Control geometry allows you to be more flexible and your are not worried about the name as the network always uses the piece of geometry that is defined in the control geometry area.

So you wrap up the node then you select the poly line and them then the Wrapped network and convert to object node.
