Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted August 6, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 6, 2016 The team and I are getting a little video production done today, but working with the pre-release builds of any software is always a bit of a challenge. AlexS in Tech Support found this one today. We like to call it, the BootyButtsBug: [img:center]https://techboard.vectorworks.net/ubbthreads.php?ubb=download&Number=16138&filename=screen_shot_2016-08-06_at_9.54.44_am.png[/img] Quote Link to comment
zoomer
I like it. My most used word (beside just and simple) But what does it mean ? But someone has to create the UIOP icons of the plant tool anyway ? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted August 6, 2016 Author Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 6, 2016 We THINK it's the placeholder text "Button" being truncated instead of showing the icons. Either that or Vectorworks is having a dance party when we aren't looking. Quote Link to comment
zoomer
Oh, of course, that makes sense. (both) Quote Link to comment

Apparently Vw is a fan of Sir Mix-A-Lot Anything to be inferred from the slightly different opacity settings (100% / 100%) on the Attributes palette? Foreground / Background? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted August 6, 2016 Author Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted August 6, 2016 That we let slip accidentally a few times at the Summit as well as my own posts here on the boards, that would be separate opacity controls for the Pen and Fill of objects, new in 2017! (No I won't leak anything else, but that one was already out there. ) Quote Link to comment
zoomer
that would be separate opacity controls for the Pen and Fill of objects, new in 2017! At least one person on the german forum will be really happy about this. Although I found a very creative workaround by applying a gradient with 2 times the same color but transparency. Little tedious but the outline will stay opaque Quote Link to comment
