Josh NZ
In arhicad there is a "rebuild model" function, generally regenerates all objects and causes them to take on parameters that for whatever reason didn't take affect previously among other things. In vectorworks I'm finding numerous tools/objects are not displaying correctly, for example the detail callout markeron screen appears one way, when I enter settings the actual selected attributes don't match whats on screen, when I click OK or cancel then the symbol changes. Another example it the framing member and custom profile, the profile symbol has been changed but the actual object appears the same, I have to select another symbol, then click OK then go back and change to the original symbol for it to show correctly. For some jobs It's not too time consuming to go around and do this for all new objects but on larger jobs it's not efficient at all not to mention risky. Is there a "rebuild model" function in VW that might fix this? I should also note that this behavior is not limited to just my computer, have tested on several others and all demonstrate the same issues. Quote Link to comment
Andy Broomell
You might try Tools < Utilities < Reset All Plug-Ins. I'm not sure whether it'll address any of the issues you're having but it's worth a shot? Quote Link to comment

CipesDesign
Not sure but perhaps... In VW's, if you adjust settings (or pref's; for an object type) with no object selected, then you have just adjusted the default settings for that type of object. It will not effect any previously created instances of that type of object. On the other hand, if you make the exact same adjustments with an object (or objects) selected, then you are only adjusting those instances and not changing the default settings.
