Hobbsies Posted July 14, 2016 Share Posted July 14, 2016 Hey folks, My lighting positions are renaming themselves with a "-1" at the end of the position name despite the symbols having the correct name. For example, the 1 Bay symbol is called 1 Bay, but the position name is "1 Bay-1". When I try to rename the position name by deleting the -1, it auto corrects to "1 BAZ". Is it because the symbol names share position names? What's the best way to fix this? Quote Link to comment

They can not use the same name as the symbol or any other object in Vectorworks. The lighting device will rename itself if it has a naming conflict. Quote Link to comment
