zero
actually, that's probably not what you wanted... duh-oh select everything on the referenced layer, then copy and paste them to a new layer Quote Link to comment
Chris T
THIS IS A WISH LIST ITEM IT WOULD BE USEFUL WHEN DOING ENLARGE PLANS. I DO IT THE WAY ZERO SAID BUT BE CAREFUL IF YOU USE VW DOOR/ WINDOW SCHEDULES OR OTHERS. ON THE COPIED PLAN UNSELECT THE DATA TAB OF THE SYMBOLS. NOW WHEN YOU DOUBLE CLICK ON A LAYER LINK IT TAKES YOU TO THE REF. LAYER. I LIKE THAT BUT IT SHOULD HAVE A DONE BOTTON TO GO BACK TO THE LAYER YOU HAVE THE LINK ON. Quote Link to comment
ga
Thanks for the tips. The reason I ask is because I'm having trouble converting a drawing set up using layer links to a dwg. The links convert to dwg as blocks, which is ok, but they dont have the hatch fills of the vectorworks original. Is this normal? Quote Link to comment
