jeandm
Hello, I need to run a script on a large number of objects and think there must be a better way than duplicating the script for each object, hence my question: Is it possible to input multiple objects using the Name Input node? Thank you! J Quote Link to comment
Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted July 11, 2016 Marionette Maven Share Posted July 11, 2016 Name will only accept one object, however, in some cases (depending on what your script does) you are able to connect more than one Name node to the input port of the next node in your network. This won't work in all cases, though, depending on if there is any list manipulation going on further in your network. What does your script do? Quote Link to comment
STERNontwerp
When, for instance, you put some of polys in a group and name that group, you can use the [name] node to get the group. And after that use the [container] node to use the polys. The [contents] node can be found under operations. Quote Link to comment
Patrick Winkler
You can also get objs by criteria. I've made a little example which shows just two of nearly endless possibilities. Edited July 14, 2016 by Patrick Winkler Quote Link to comment
