grant_PD
How do I get rid of this weird shading? It's only happening on this one file. Quote Link to comment
rDesign
Try turning off 'Ambient Occlusion' at View > Set Lighting Options Ambient Light and Sunlight : Vw2016 Help Quote Link to comment
michaelk
Looks like you have ambient occlusion turned on. View > Set Lighting Options… mk Quote Link to comment
AlanW
You can adjust the the settings on this to give you a more realistic appearance, it replicated reality. If you look at your room you will see a shading in the corners and this replicates it. HTH Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
Genius bar. Love it. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
zoomer
I always use AO. I'm a big fan. I set it to 4-16 cm distance only and max. 50% gray though Quote Link to comment

michaelk
I'm just relieved that my answer matched Tim's. mk Quote Link to comment
rDesign
Ha ha! I could say the same about you Michael! I think I even had a 'gateway time out' on my response. Quote Link to comment
michaelk
:-) I think that 'gateway time out' page is now part of the user interface. mk Quote Link to comment
grant_PD
BTW, I knew it was AO (use it C4D all the time, and Renderworks now too). But I didn't know there was a global setting for it. Which is very cool. Just trying to protect my rendering cred.... Quote Link to comment
