The only real need I can see keeping an older version would be if you have old old files that haven't been converted to a newer version. VW 10 can only convert back to MC 7 files. If you have files that are versions before that, convert them to a newish version of VW so they are versoin 7 or later .. then get rid of the old programs. Otherwise, you might find yourself needing that file from 1994 .. and to get it to open in VW 10, you'll need to convert it to an earlier version before being able to convert it to 10.
