Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted June 10, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 10, 2016 In File > Export > Export PDF, double the DPI setting that is currently set there and export again. Tell me if when you compare the new export and the old the wobble still appears or if it seems different. Quote Link to comment
monkey
Hi Jim thanks for getting back to me. i had to up the DPI to 1200 before it was acceptable. still a little kink or stubby end on some of the dashes. usually i don't ever export above 300 dpi due to file size. oddly, a solid line circle at 300 dpi is fine, but the same circle with a dash style isn't. is this just something i have to get over, or is it some inherent problem with dash styles? thanks Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted June 10, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted June 10, 2016 Do all dash styles appear this way? If you do a test at a reasonable 300DPI with 6-7 of the default styles used on circles in an export, do they appear with the same wobble or do they have varying appearances? Quote Link to comment
monkey
Test 2 dash styles 1-6 applied at 300 dpi, still all have a slight wobble. Test 3 set at 1200dpi. a lot better, but still has the wobble Quote Link to comment
