Josh NZ
I am wanting to create a small library of simple roof composites. For example a roof made up of 30mm/45mm/90mm composites to illustrate the roof thickness, purlin thickness and truss thickness. Can be as simple as 4 solid black lines. Only draw back is for the life of me I can't find where to add/edit these. In ArchiCAD its as simple as looking in its version of the resource browser. Quote Link to comment
Jonathan Pickup
are you wanting to have these components in your roof? Like a roof Style? Quote Link to comment
Josh NZ
Yeah thats what I'm after. Hopefully have a handful of common sizes for example one with a 45mm thick composite to suit 45mm purlins and another with a 75mm composite. I cant see the style section on the roof face OIP like you do with the wall OIP thou. Quote Link to comment
D Wood
I think you may have to upgrade to v2016. Quote Link to comment

Josh NZ
Haha somehow I don't think the person with the cheque book is going to like my reasoning. So with Vectorworks, Architect 2013 you can't give attributes to a roof in section??? Ive been using Archicad 12 for the last couple of years and I think that feature was available prior to 2010? Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted May 11, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted May 11, 2016 Correct, Vectorworks roof and roof face objects did not have a component system until 2016. Other object types had it before then, but it became pretty obvious we needed to add them. Quote Link to comment
