Surface from Curves node

Here's a file with an example.

I'm still not fully comfortable with the process involved, so I might not be super helpful if you have questions, but I can try.

I have noticed, though, that this only appears to work if it's in a Marionette Object, it's been failing on me if I just run it as a network or wrapper. I'll be sure to look into it.

I modified the currently existing Surface from Curves node to accept an input of curves, in this example I only used one. I don't know how it would work if you did more? Again, this procedure currently is over my head.

I can TRY to answer any questions you may have.

Marissa,

Thanks for this, the node I have in the drop down menu has a closed start where this one is open.

That may explain a lot of my problems.

Thanks

Will see how I go

So i placed it in but no surface, will re look at it tomorrow.

Thanks

Marissa,

Thanks again, I must read more carefully, "Marionette Object" and Yay all good.

But I used the Shell Solid node.

Will play with the surface node to see what happens.

Thanks again.

Second file shows it all works when changing the Control geometry.

:) :)

Marissa,

Figured out the other networks, Interesting that some shapes work with convert to polygon then extrude and others work with Shell Solid.

Think I came across this issue before where Native objects work different from constructed ones.

Also i swapped your surface node with a Shell Solid node and could get it to work also.

I like the way you closed your polylines points, same start and end just loop the wires.

Nice!
