DXF/DWG import not in plugins folder

When I try to import a dwg file I cannot select import in the menu because it is grayed out and says "DFX/DWG import not in plugins folder". How do I get it back? I used to be able to import.

I am using the latest build of VW 2014 on a new MBPro. I have been on VW since it replaced MiniCad, and then on MiniCad since v1.

You may want to check the read/write rights of your plug-ins folder or the plug-in. Maybe VW cannot access the plug-in because of a change in user rights.

Did you check if the plug-in is still in the folder? If yes the above may be the issue, if not you may need to reinstall VW or run the latest service pack to get it back.

Remove the DWG import command from your workspace via the Workspace Editor:

Then simply add it back from the list on the left of the editor. This is almost always a workspace related issue.
