Guest unlimited
My first Marionette object after watching a couple of the intro videos. It won't win any awards for scripting but this got me started and showed me what could be done with just a few nodes used repetitively. Its a traditional 4 panel door leaf and I've included a few of the iterations to show 'my journey' (including an attempt to order the OIP fields which I could not get to work and which I need to revisit. Patrick Winkler
Nice Example. Coloring the connections is a good way to master the wire chaos! thanks Quote Link to comment
willofmaine
To order the OIP fields, you can include a number in the node's name. For example, "Door Width" would be "1Door Width". No space, for whatever reason. And I just found that at two digits (like 10 or 11, it produces an error). But, hopefully this is a start! Quote Link to comment
willofmaine
It seems that the draw order of the nodes will also control their order in the OIP: the further back a node is, the higher in the list it appears ("first drawn, first listed"). Quote Link to comment
the frog
hello quick answer about ordering. You can find in " Marionette OIP ordering bug " in the marionette forum the way to count after 9. It took me a while to understand when it can work and when it doesn't... Quote Link to comment
