the frog
New goal: I built a frame for a door. When I run the script the frame moves with the door. If I change the door’s place and run the script again, the frame sticks to the door's new place. Question: I can I achieve the same result when the script is converted into a Marionette object? As soon as it’s converted it won’t follow my door. Quote Link to comment
Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted March 1, 2016 Marionette Maven Share Posted March 1, 2016 (edited) I'm investigating this for you. Right now, since a Marionette Object essentially uses its own coordinate space, I don't think the object would be able to follow the door using your current script. I also attempted to work with using a door as Control Geometry, but had no success since I believe that has to be 2D. I do have an idea, though. I'll update you if I get it working. the frog
Thanks Marissa I also wanted to manage using the parametric constraint but only works in 2D if you could have a look at my frame pb in the 'visible invisible and ohhhh textures'post it would be great Quote Link to comment
