Export to DWG does not export Viewports

Croo377

Question

When I export into DWG and Open the file in AutoCad Lt all the viewports are blocks and not viewports. Additionally a new layer (Class) is created for all viewports so the data gets copied over and over again.

This started as a DWG file and nothing was changed in the organization of it ie. no new sheet layers or viewports.

I really want to export this down to the way I received it.

What am i doing wrong?

Thanks

Are you experting from a design layer or a sheet layer?

When you export from a sheet layer then you should get viewports on the layouts as it is in AutoCAD.

Though I don't use AutoCAD LT I assume that it will work the same as the full AutoCAD in that aspect (i.e. that there are not some limitations re viewports that would cause LT to behave different in certain situations).
