jlorang
I'm trying to make some room diagrams with classroom style seating but for some odd reason there aren't any 18" deep tables in the Spotlight Object Library. It really seems like there should be an option for an 18" x 6' table with 3 chairs at it. Does anybody know where I can find 18" x 6' tables to import to the object library or how I can make these tables for myself? Any help would be greatly appreciated. rDesign
There is also the 'Table and Chairs' PIO tool located in the 'Furn./Fixtures' tool palette, you can make the table any width / length that you want. But I don't think you can have chairs on only one side, so you'd have to put the chairs in manually. Create the Table, add the three chairs, select all four elements and create a 2D/3D Symbol. On a side note, it is hard to believe that searching the Vw2015 & Vw2016 online help for 'table' doesn't return the 'Table and Chairs' tool in the results. It should be the first result. RonanR
@jlorang just wondering if you created these 18" x 6' tables, and if so could you share the symbol? If not, as a recent convert to VW '19 from SketchUp Pro, how easily are existing symbols for tables/chairs changed so as to be used in the Seating Section tool? Thanks for any pointers. RonanR
@Rob Books Thanks for your comment. I have seen the pre-existing one, but unfortunately no 'schoolies' as they are known (18" deep, 6ft long)... increasingly used for events. I could use one of the existing symbols, but not entirely sure how to modify it. Quote Link to comment
RonanR
@Rob Books Thank you, appreciated. 5 x chairs now added. Posting model in case it helps someone else in future. Table 18x72.vwx 2 Quote Link to comment
