Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted February 26, 2016 Marionette Maven Share Posted February 26, 2016 (edited) I've created a wrapper, that I will hopefully soon consolidate into a node, that creates a rounded rectangular extrude (you could also think of it as a rectangular extrude with same-radius fillets on all edges) My original RRExtrude node is inside of the wrapper. If you're interested, running it alone will produce sharp corners.. hence the creation of this wrapper to smooth them. Feedback appreciated. Edited February 26, 2016 by MarissaF Quote Link to comment
Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted February 26, 2016 Author Marionette Maven Share Posted February 26, 2016 (edited) I think I've got it. Here's the standalone node - with all of my ugly edits and test cases still in the script guts... well not all of them This file has both the network and a Marionette object. I'll clean up the script at some point... maybe Edited February 26, 2016 by MarissaF Quote Link to comment
AlanW
I love the results you can get with this node. Its fun. Didn't adjust anything within the script. Thanks. Edited February 27, 2016 by Alan Woodwell Quote Link to comment
Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted February 28, 2016 Author Marionette Maven Share Posted February 28, 2016 Alan! How sneaky! I'm assuming this is the result of negative inputs. Do you think I should do error handling on this or leave it as is? Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Yes played with negative inputs. Probably need to make it i d i o t proof. But this i d i o t is keeping your original one. Edited February 28, 2016 by Alan Woodwell Quote Link to comment
