nrkuhl
Has anyone had experience with Vectorworks somehow changing the number of pages in the horizontal or vertical direction in page setup? This is an option that no one in my office has ever intentionally changed, and yet we keep finding it somehow gets set to just slightly more than a whole page, for instance 1.0204 in the x direction. This results in extraneous pages being printed with tiny pieces of lines on them. Today, we had an especially egregious run, where one effectively blank sheet got printed for every page of actual content. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee PVA - Admin Posted February 22, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 22, 2016 This can happen if custom page sized are not used. Some printers automatically include a margin for their default page sizes that can cause extra horizontal/vertical pages to be generated. This can normally be fixed by creating custom page sizes for that printer with 0-ed out margins and using them instead of the default page sizes: http://kbase.vectorworks.net/questions/800/Page+Setup Quote Link to comment
HEengineering
Weve had this same issue. Ive wrestled with this for hours upon hours, with VW tech support and still no avail. We end up printing 1 to 1 and that keeps it at bay. However at random sometimes VW will spit our multiple sheets for the same page when simply trying to print a whole package, or it wlll print that second page as the OP states. There are so many options for printers. It can be frustrating and confusing. Quote Link to comment
