Snap to path in extrude along path

If I extrude a shape along a path, I can see and edit the points of that path with the reshape tool.

This is a great little feature.

But as son as I exit the reshape tool, those points disappear and are not available for snapping.

It is surprising how often I need those snaps.

So my wish is, that they remain 'snapable', even if they are invisible – or that I can make them visible in the OIP.

For now you could create a fairly simple object that creates internally the EAP but also adds the path to snap on. Or instead of the path, a locus on each vertex.

Yes, please, +1. Also like the seeing all profile points of the path during edit, but like with other edits, not visible if position at creation is flipped or rotated.

Yep, I ended up adding it to an existing one. Any time I reply with "Submitted" it either went into its own new case or the thread was attached to an existing request. There isn't a lot of automated tracking of who requested what as far as linking our issue tracker to the forums so a lot of it is manually linking them for now and the posts I make in these threads help me keep track.
