RickR
I'm having trouble with debug mode. Often I can't get the wires to respond, no red highlighting or dialog. It usually seems to be just some wires in any given network. I've looked over snapping options and the like and everything looks normal. Plus I can get some of them. As a general note: I think wire handles are too small relative to the nodes. Selecting them is harder than it should be. I've seen several folks in videos that often have trouble with it. What can be done? Quote Link to comment
AlanW
Hi, Yea sometimes tricky to catch, you have to be in Top/Plan mode to select them. There needs to be a bit of adjustment because mousing over them sometimes that catch and other not. HTH Edited February 12, 2016 by Alan Woodwell Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee SBarrettWalker Posted February 12, 2016 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 12, 2016 Hey Rick - when running debug mode, if a wire is not selectable, it is usually because there is an error further up in the definition, it depends on the type of error in the definition so this is not always true, but if you can debug some of the wires in the definition but not all, that is usually the case. Marionette Maven Marissa Farrell Posted February 12, 2016 Marionette Maven Share Posted February 12, 2016 I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with Sarah (sorry!), because I also have a hard time selecting wires that are definitely correct. Since I know Alan uses Windows, and it appears that Rick does as well, and Sarah uses Mac primarily, we may be able to attribute it to a Windows ickiness. Quote Link to comment
